I am Stefany, an independent professional makeup artist based in Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia, and I am responsible for the personal data I receive through this website. This policy follows Colombia's Ley 1581 de 2012 and Decreto 1074 de 2015.
In one sentence: I use your details only to answer your enquiry and provide the service. I do not sell them, I do not share them with third parties for marketing, and I delete them once I no longer need them.
What I collect
- First and last name, so I know whose appointment it is.
- WhatsApp number, and your email if you choose to leave it, so I can reply and arrange the appointment.
- Event details: date, location and the services you are interested in.
- ID or passport number, only if you pay for a class online. I do not ask for it when you request a quote.
- Payment records: the agreed price and deposits received. I never store card numbers or banking credentials.
Why I ask for an ID number when you pay for a class
It comes up in one place only: when you book and pay for your course seat online. The payment gateway (Wompi, part of Bancolombia) requires the payer's document number to process the transaction and to record whose seat it is.
The ID number is used for that purpose only. It is never used for credit checks, never shared with third parties and never published anywhere. It is held in a private file that only I can open.
If you are simply requesting a quote, I do not ask for an ID number. Your name and WhatsApp are enough to build your package and receive your quote.
How long I keep each item
- ID number (only for those who pay for a class): 12 months from the date of the class, then deleted, unless there is an open claim or legal process requiring me to keep it.
- Name, contact and event details: 5 years from your last service, to handle any claim and to reach you if you book again.
- Payment and invoicing records: 10 years, as required by article 28 of the Colombian Commercial Code.
- Enquiries that never became a booking: 12 months from our last contact.
If you ask me to delete your data sooner, I will, except where the law requires me to keep it (for example, the accounting record of a service that was actually delivered and paid for).
Your rights
At any time, free of charge, you may:
- Know what data of yours I hold.
- Update or correct anything incomplete or wrong.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Withdraw the permission you gave me.
- File a complaint with Colombia's Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC).
To exercise any of these, message me on WhatsApp or write to my email. I reply within the 15 business days the law allows.
How your data is protected
Your information is kept in a private, password-protected file with two-step verification. I am the only person with access. When you send a package, the details go straight to my WhatsApp or my email: nothing is kept on the site.
Cookies and visitor measurement
I use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site, where they arrive from and which sections they read. It helps me understand what people are looking for and avoid spending on advertising that does not work.
Google Analytics stores a cookie in your browser with an anonymous identifier. It tells me how many people did something, never who. Your IP address is anonymised.
What is never sent to Google: your name, your ID number, your phone, your email, your event date or the services you quoted. Those only reach my WhatsApp or my email.
I also keep one small value in your browser so the open-class notice does not appear on every page. It is deleted when you close the browser.
If you would rather not be measured, you can block cookies in your browser settings or use a private window. The site works exactly the same.
Photographs
I never publish photographs of you without your written permission. If I would like to use a photo of your makeup on social media or on this site, I ask you separately, and you can say no without it affecting your service in any way. For anyone under 18, a parent or guardian signs instead.
Minors
When the service is for someone under 18 (quinceañeras, for example), their details are provided and authorised by a parent or legal guardian.
