Privacy Policy

I am Stefany, an independent professional makeup artist based in Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia, and I am responsible for the personal data I receive through this website. This policy follows Colombia's Ley 1581 de 2012 and Decreto 1074 de 2015.

In one sentence: I use your details only to answer your enquiry and provide the service. I do not sell them, I do not share them with third parties for marketing, and I delete them once I no longer need them.

What I collect

Full name and ID or passport number, when you build a package or book an appointment.
WhatsApp number or email, so I can reply and arrange the appointment.
Event details: date, time, location and the services you are interested in.
Payment records: the agreed price and deposits received. I never store card numbers or banking credentials.

Why I ask for an ID number

I work on location: I travel alone to homes, hotels and salons belonging to people I have not met. Asking for the ID number of whoever books is a personal safety measure, and it leaves an identifiable record of who I arranged to meet.

The ID number is used for that purpose only. It is never used for credit checks, never shared with third parties and never published anywhere. It is held in a private file that only I can open.

How long I keep each item

ID number: 12 months from the date of service, then deleted, unless there is an open claim or legal process requiring me to keep it.
Name, contact and event details: 5 years from your last service, to handle any claim and to reach you if you book again.
Payment and invoicing records: 10 years, as required by article 28 of the Colombian Commercial Code.
Enquiries that never became a booking: 12 months from our last contact.

If you ask me to delete your data sooner, I will, except where the law requires me to keep it (for example, the accounting record of a service that was actually delivered and paid for).

Your rights

At any time, free of charge, you may:

Know what data of yours I hold.
Update or correct anything incomplete or wrong.
Request deletion of your data.
Withdraw the permission you gave me.
File a complaint with Colombia's Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC).

To exercise any of these, message me on WhatsApp or write to my email. I reply within the 15 business days the law allows.

How your data is protected

Your information is kept in a private, password-protected file with two-step verification. I am the only person with access. This website stores nothing in your browser: when you send a package, the details go straight to my WhatsApp or my email.

Photographs

I never publish photographs of you without your written permission. If I would like to use a photo of your makeup on social media or on this site, I ask you separately, and you can say no without it affecting your service in any way. For anyone under 18, a parent or guardian signs instead.

Minors

When the service is for someone under 18 (quinceañeras, for example), their details are provided and authorised by a parent or legal guardian.
